  • 2/18/2010 7:00 pm Virginia Association for Biological Farming Conference

The Institute Conference Center - Danville, VA

    WHAT IS BIOLOGICAL FARMING?
    Biological Farming
is any method of farming or gardening that primarily utilizes natural, biological processes and methods for managing crops and livestock. The goal of biological farming is to produce high-quality, healthful food and other farm products by ecologically sound means that protect and enhance water, soil, air, wildlife and other environmental resources, both on and off the farm. The 2010 VABF Conference will feature two days of educational presentations concerning ecological agriculture for both farmers, gardeners, and those with green thumbs, as well as a lively young adult and children's program.
Last year, Adrienne was invited to sing for the conference and is again, honored and EXCITED to have been asked to set the stage in song Friday night, just before the inspiring and accomplished keynote speaker, Micheal Ableman. She will also be leading a children's workshop related to Backyard Revolution. If you are in the area, please stop by and join the learning curve...The members of VABF are among the finest folks in Virginia. Deeply rooted, with lives that reflect the most genuine devotion to our earth, our families, local economies, and eco-culture. We hope you will find a way to come be a part!
