7/17/2008 Grey Fox Bluegrass FestivalChuck, Mary, Janet, Lisas and every last one of those Grey Foxes have put their hearts and souls into this festival. It may be scheduled for four days but it is a year-round event and an honest-to-goodness family that has welcomed us warmly from the first time we ever played at IBMA some years ago. They have helped to put many bands on the map, and we are certainly one of them. The transition onto a brand new farm this year has added an entire other dimension to this years festival as it really will be the first. Come and christen it with us - we'll be around all weekend, hanging with old friends, and some new ones, too...see you down on the farm!
AY Band Schedule - 4pm - Thursday mainstage
noon- Friday songwriting workshop (Adrienne and Kristen Andreassen)
2pm - Friday. It's the 2 hour 'prove your salt' set in the Dance Tent...bring it on!
10:30 - 10:50 Saturday. 'The art of artist publicity' - IBMA workshop hosted by Nancy Caldwell
1pm - Saturday mainstage
4pm - Saturday. Dance tent - come shake what your mama gave you...

We are extremely pleased to announce the new location for Grey Fox. Grey Fox will be on a lovely 200-acre farm in Greene County, New York on County Route 22 between the towns of Oak Hill and Durham, just a short drive off the NY Thruway (and the Albany airport). Camping at our new home will be "on the level" with plenty of tent camping in its tree-lined perimeter. For those not wanting to camp, there is plenty of lodging available in the nearby town of Windham. We couldn't be happier. The Walsh Farm is a magical place that from the air looks exactly like a mandolin! Bill Monroe would be proud! And speaking of mandolins, we just added Sam Bush for Saturday night to our already
spectacular lineup.

7/21/2008 RockyGrass AcademyLooking forward to some gorgeous company, of both the terrestrial and 2-legged kind (4 legs works, too).
Andy is heading up a mandolin madness group and Adrienne will be leading clawhammer banjo workshops, as well as some elective sessions on singing (with powerhouse John Cowan!!) and an 'indy label how-to' workshop. Thanks to Steve and Craig, Julie and all the wonderful spirits making this Planet...Bluegrass.
Registration for the 2008 Academy, using the Academy lottery, is already closed. Most of the classes are now sold-out, but there are still a few open spaces. Check out shop.bluegrass.com or call 800-624-2422. -
