Happy Chinese New Year! Miss Young goes to Washington as part of the Teaming with Wildlife Coalition - Air America Podcast link

On February 28th more than 150 wildlife conservation leaders from nearly every state will gather in Washington DC to celebrate the growth of the Teaming with Wildlife Coalition to more than 5,000 members and the approval of all 56 state wildlife action plans.
Back in October, the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries honored Adrienne by inviting her to rewrite and rerecord, 'Hills and Hollers', to be used as the theme song for the Virginia Wildlife Action Plan. She was also asked to appear in and narrate the video. This is the culmination of that effort as, at this critical moment, we must work together to persuade Members of Congress to provide the reliable funding these wildlife action plans need to conserve wildlife and natural places before they become more rare and more costly to protect.
At Noon on Wednesday we'll gather on the steps of the Capitol where Adrienne will sing America the Beautiful, while Challenger, a bald eagle, flies overhead. That evening we'll celebrate our congressional champions with a reception in the House of Representatives, and again, Adrienne, along with some Charlottesville friends from King Wilkie, will offer a few tunes to get the party started.
