Ome Remedy Winners
12/17/2004
Well, Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Congratulations are in order to Mr. Darren Drabek of Saratoga Springs, New York, who is now a very clear and uncongested owner of a Jubilee Minstrel Ome Banjo!
He sent in a remedy that's a real good un. Feeling sinus clogation? Try snorting salt water. Darren suggests, mix a tablespoon of salt in 8 ounces of warm water, cup hand, pour in hand, lift hand to nose, and snort to your heart's content. This will act as an expectorant and relieve stuffy nose and sinuses.
In the more than you need to know category, I do this with warm water every morning upon rising. I'll give the sea salt a try, though, in honor of the newest banjo picker in Saratoga. YAY!
AND, now we move south to Rome, Georgia, to pat Miss Kristy Smith on the back for sending us a fantastic cold remedy. Boil a handful of wheatgrass in low water for three minutes, during 2nd minute add a tablespoon of honey, after 3rd minute, remove wheatgrass, cool and drink to relieve cold symptoms.
And don't forget the deal-sealer, put on your IPOD and dance around your living room. heehee
Seriously, we are flabbergasted at the incredible Home Remedies that you all took the time and loving care to share with us. Stay tuned for details on our upcoming Remedy book we will have out next year.
It has been a pleasure and we thank you.
Happy Holidays and a Blessed New Year!!!
