The first week in October saw another of my very vivid dreams materialize into reality when Mr. Tim O' Brien himself, yes, the most talented, laid-back Irishman ever to sling a Bouzouki, joined me and some friends in the studio to record "Just Like Christmas". Written by myself and the reknown Jim Photoglo, "Just Like Christmas" will be going out to Americana stations and country stations alike in November.
Will Kimbrough was on hand supplying his usual bounty of good vibes and great tunes, Matthew Combs delivered a gorgeous string arrangement and performance while Tania Elizabeth and Jordan McConnell from 'the Duhks' (who were in Nashville finishing up their Sugar Hill debut record produced by The One & Only Bela Fleck),
laid down soul-stirring fiddle and guitar tracks at the House of David. We will post the track here soon, so stay tuned! This was an ENORMOUS HONOR, Thankyou Tim, Will, Matthew, Tania, Jordan, Jim, Adam, and Sugar Hill for letting everyone dance 'round the tree!
