11-1-2008 New horizons for the Adrienne Young Band, Mid-Atlantic Debut of our 'Now the Green Blade Rises Tour

Greetings to all you new and familiar faces! It has been years since the inception of the idea which is now coming into fruition as our 'Now the Green Blade Rises Tour'., pushing the boulder steadily up the mountain, positively intending and giving our vision form, step by step. There are still canyons to cross and heights to reach but we are exuberant to share that the debut of our Family Festival Tour is upon us. Thanks to the Mid-Atlantic Arts Council, the North American Association for Environmental Education, The Food Routes Network, The American Community Garden Association, Whole Foods and musical presenters from 6 Mid-Atlantic States, we now invite you to be a part of the beginning, our premiere series of events which will be making their way to communities in New York, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, this year. Next year, Washington DC, Virginia, and Delaware will play host to our efforts.
We've just finished a week of rehearsals in preparation for the fall touring schedule and are still basking in gratitude for a summer of goodness with memorable performances across the country, many of which can be seen on YouTube. Oliver Craven, Adrienne Young, Jay Starling and Andre Eglevsky have fresh material and traditional song offerings to present to you so get thee out and come be a part of the show – looking forward to the downbeat.
