8-27-2007 Hard at it...(travel helmet on...)

It's been fourteen weeks since we released our latest CD, Room To Grow, into the fresh and open air of the wild. We are grateful that it's still on the charts of Americana Radio, breaking 4000 spins last week! Thanks to all the station managers, DJs, folks who called in, and program directors for helping us to share our music with listeners all over the world. We surely do appreciate you!
Our fiddler's Dad, Tim Craven, caught this lovely photo of us being engrossed in matters at hand (thanks, Tim!) To all you shutterbugs out there, please feel free to send along any pix you may have - we will try to post them!
New tour dates on the books, as well as an Amazon Wire Podcast on Amazon.com with Adrienne talking about...ah, well, we'll leave that up for you to decide - it's open to debate!
We've some wonderful new tour dates coming up - lots of fine opportunities to mix and mingle with the band members, who by the way, are doing great. The week of September 19-25 the E-TOWN broadcast will be coming to you over the radio waves, or if you so choose, through your earphones via podcast. Check with your local public radio station for local broadcast dates and times. Our experience in Colorado with Nick and Helen Forester, the entire E-TOWN family, and KT Tunstal and her crew was fantastic and memorable. We thank them for their hospitatilty and vision.
On September 8, we'll be perfoming at the Greenmarket in Manhattan's Union Square as part of Farm Aid's Celebration of Farm and Food. The event kicks of at 7:30am and you'll have plenty to do and see before we play at 1:45pm. After shows in Ohio, New Jersey, and Virginia, we'll be back in New York on October 17 for an afternoon taping of the Food Network's Emeril Live (we'll let you know when it will be airing as soon as we find out) and for an evening performance at Satalla as part of the CMJ Music Marathon... two great honors in the same day! Check the tour schedule for details on all the upcoming dates.
